More About Me
Hi, I’m Ngumabi.
I'm a Cameroonian mom intentionally creating a meaningful, flexible, and fulfilling life for myself and my family and sharing what happens along the way.
On any given day, you'll find me balancing motherhood, working remotely, growing my handmade business, creating content, and figuring out how to build a life that feels aligned with who I am and what matters most to me.
This blog is where I document that journey.
Some posts are simple snapshots of everyday life. Others are reflections on motherhood, work, personal growth, money, creativity, and the lessons life teaches me along the way. You'll also find stories from my home, kitchen experiments, thoughts inspired by things I see, life updates, and the small moments that make up an ordinary life.
I believe that building a life you love doesn't happen all at once. It happens through everyday choices, small changes, setbacks, fresh starts, and the courage to keep going.
Through my writing, I hope to create a space where women feel inspired to dream, grow, rebuild, and create lives that feel meaningful to them while also feeling seen and less alone in the process.
Here, you'll find content about:
- Everyday life
- Building work, business, and income streams
- Personal growth and life lessons
- Home, routines, food, motherhood and simple pleasures
- Creating a meaningful and fulfilling life on your own terms
Whether you're building, rebuilding, dreaming bigger, or simply figuring things out one day at a time, I'm glad you're here. So, welcome to my little corner of the internet. I hope you feel inspired, entertained, or maybe just less alone in your own journey as you read my posts.
Over the years, I’ve been grateful to receive some recognition for this space:
- Featured on FeedSpot’s Top Black Female Blogs (See list here, I'm No 38) (2025)
- Listed among the Top Cameroonian Blogs to Follow by Limko.com see here (2022)

- Interviewed on Channel Africa Radio (2022) to speak about sharing my journey after childbirth on my blog to empower other African women (Listen here). The second interview was about blogging in Cameroon and my making it to the list of Cameroonian blogs to follow.
