One thing about me is I can go out for my normal daily errands with these hairstyles without a problem. I love looking good at all times but for some reason I may have to step out with my old braids or cornrows to do a few errands. It's not easy to balance looking good all the time and daily responsibilities especially as a mom. Well that's my experience. It may be easier for other moms. 

How do you cope with looking good at all times my lovelies?

While it also imparts a gentle warmth upon application, it is less intense compared to the pommade. I have seamlessly integrated it into my makeup routine, using it to set my foundation while benefiting from its skin-nurturing properties.

When it comes to exfoliating and revitalizing my skin, the Sivoderm exfoliating cream has been my go-to choice. While it can be utilized on the entire body, I primarily focus on using it for facial exfoliation, as I have alternative products for the rest of my body. Its ability to eliminate dead cells and cleanse the skin has significantly contributed to my skincare regimen.

My experience with the Sivoderm lotion has revealed its effectiveness in addressing acne, albeit with a cautionary note. When used undiluted or in excessive amounts, it may induce a drying and burning sensation. Hence, I always dilute it with a few drops of water before application and follow up with thorough moisturization.

Lastly, the Sivoderm collagen body lotion has left a positive impression with its delightful fragrance, skin-softening properties, and quick absorption. Its ease of application and hydrating effects make it a valuable addition to my skincare routine.

For the past month, I've embarked on a unique journey of managing my relaxed hair without plaiting it - not even cornrows. This decision has allowed me to experience a newfound sense of freedom in caring for my hair, and it has been an empowering and rewarding experience.

Taking care of my relaxed hair has been a top priority during this period. I've established a routine that involves treating and washing my hair regularly, oiling it, and keeping it well-combed. These simple yet essential steps have significantly contributed to the health and strength of my hair, demonstrating the importance of consistent maintenance.

In addition to these practices, I have also taken the initiative to trim my hair when necessary, ensuring that split ends and damage are kept at bay. This proactive measure has proven to be beneficial in maintaining the overall condition of my hair, promoting growth and vitality.

When it comes to styling, I've found that putting my hair in a bun has been a practical and versatile choice, especially when I want to lie down or sleep. This method not only keeps my hair out of the way but also minimizes tangles and friction, ultimately preserving its smoothness and luster.

It's been a few weeks since I shared any posts here and honestly I was getting bothered by that. I was so busy lately. The transition from holiday to back-to-school has been hectic but thank God it went well. I'm settling in to the changes and adapting now. 

By the time we got to the week before school started, I was wondering if school was really starting the following week because I couldn't just bring myself to accept that I have to start having very early mornings at least five times a week. I'm not an early morning person so you get my struggle. But I've been trying my best. There are days we are late and others are on time. So we thank God for that. 

I'm giving myself time to adapt to the new routine of early mornings and doing homework in the evening. It can be easy to judge or blame yourself for not doing so good at something if you don't consider that you need some time to adapt before you can be more performant or productive. 

By the way October will soon be here and that means we are three months away from the year 2024! I mean, we just said happy new year a while ago so why are we already talking about another year? This is mind-blowing I tell you. The year has gone by so fast in my opinion.

In the meantime I'm optimistic about this new week. It's my second week of using my new skin care products I got last week. I got more sivoderm products for myself and some products for the kids. There's been some changes after I used them this first week so I'm looking forward to how it will be this week.
