✨ Happy International Women’s Day! ✨
It breaks my heart when I hear women speak against feminism, not realizing that so many of the rights and freedoms we enjoy today exist because of it. Unfortunately, because of a few extremists, some people have completely dismissed feminism, forgetting that at its core, it is simply the fight for women's rights. The ability to travel alone, live independently, choose our own partners, own a phone or a bank account, and even get an education—these are not privileges, they are rights. And feminism is what made them possible.
We all came from a woman. The least we can do is ensure that the women in our lives are not deprived of the things that make them human—freedom, choice, dignity, and respect. Feminism is not a battle of genders; it is a call for fairness, for a world where every woman and girl has access to opportunities without discrimination.
This year’s theme, "For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment," is a reminder that no woman should be left behind. Whether she’s a business owner, a student, a stay-at-home mom, or a woman fighting to be heard, her rights matter. Feminism is not just about one group of women—it is for ALL of us.
So today, I celebrate every woman carving her own path, breaking barriers, and making history in her own way. May we continue to rise, uplift one another, and never apologize for taking up space. 💜💪🏾
Happy Women’s Day! ✨
