Hello guys, it's been a while. Hope you are doing well. 

We just came out of a tense election period in Cameroon, and honestly, it was heavy. Most of our days were built around staying informed and staying safe. Things feel calmer now, and we’re slowly easing back into normal life again. 

Somewhere in the middle of all that tension, I surprised myself by restarting my business. I just started posting my products again on Facebook Marketplace, and it brought back my business side. It reminded me of how I used to do things like making sales and talking with customers. I missed that. I’ve relearned and picked up a few new ones, and it feels good to be back in that flow.

A tiny win I’ve been enjoying lately is my akara. Yes, your girl is now making khoki beans akara successfully and regularly! I enjoy them so much in the morning. And to think I struggled with it because of too much water, and I tried to save it with flour or even eggs (cha!) It was a whole comedy. I wrote about it here: click here to read. Now I’ve found the trick that makes it come out well every time. Honestly, because of this, I haven’t cooked proper khoki in a while. I’ve just been frying akara every week, lol.

In other news, I started vlogging again. I haven’t vlogged in a while, and out of nowhere, I felt like vlogging last week, and I did. Now I’m fighting the laziness to edit it, but hopefully it will be up soon.
