Happy month of April.

Hope you are doing well today.

I'm ok, though there's been some very shocking news in Cameroon these days. It's so painful to even listen to the details of the story. A little girl of 11 years old was raped and killed by the father of her friend. The whole country is screaming for justice. It's so heartbreaking. The rate of violence against women and girls these past months in Cameroon has been something else. I pray for the safety of all women and girls in the name of Jesus.

So we are on Easter break, and I'm happy I won't have to wake up very early every morning for a few weeks. I must say I'm not as tired at the end of this second term as I was last year. Last year, I was exhausted and worn out from school errands, plus my other daily activities. I intend to catch up on my beauty sleep and rest deeply. No plans on how to occupy the kids for now, but they have their usual TV and toys to play with. I intend to make time for studying too. 

This holiday is also the time to concentrate on being consistent on YouTube. I am back on YouTube! I already shared two vlogs so far, and I'm happy about that. I recorded these vlogs in January but felt heavy to edit and post because I was thinking of switching things up on YouTube. I didn't know which direction I would eventually take at the time, so I didn't want to just post. I post a vlog once a week, so this week's vlog is on its way. I tried something new recently—chia seeds. They say it's an antioxidant and helps with weight loss. I saw posts about it on TikTok for a while and wanted to try them but didn't know where to get them. It felt like one of those things you need to ask someone to import for you. Then recently, while at the supermarket, I saw it. Imagine my surprise and joy. It wasn't on my list, but I had to make a impromtu purchase. I have taken it a few times, though at first I was scared because of the different things people said about how to take it. I take one and a half teaspoons of the seeds, which I soak in hot water for 20 minutes. Looking forward to the results.

We are officially in the second quarter of 2026. This is a friendly reminder to evaluate your habits and your goals. Do your current habits enable you to achieve your goals for the year? If they don't, it's time to adjust.
