One of the ways parents manage their kids during holidays is to let them spend time with family members or friends. This is usually with a family in another town. The aim is to let the child have a new experience in another home.
I never really did holidays out of my home but I definitely had classmates and friends who did. It was nice to hear their stories and the experiences they had in their "new homes".
But are the impacts always positive?

Pros
It widens their knowledge
Travelling or changing the environment teaches you a lot of things.The kids will learn about new culltures and new things that make up their new environment.
It helps them know family memebers better and creates a relationship with them
Staying with a relative creates a relationship or makes it stronger.
It helps them to learn new good habits
They will learn and follow the good habits of the new environment.
Cons
The kids can also learn bad habits from their new environment.
Just as they learn good habits they can also learn bad ones. The kids in that house or around the house can influence the badly.
They are exposed to abuse like rape
I think this is the main reason why I wrote this post. Gone are the days when you could trust people to care for your kids.
Parents? be extreemly careful with whom you leave your kids with. A lot of children are raped and maltreated and even threatened. Most times the molestor is living with them.
These homes you send your kids to also have strangers living with them and this further exposes your kids to abuse. So parents please be careful who you send your kids to this holiday. trust no one entirely.
