Apart From Pullovers, Here Are 5 Other Ways To Keep Warm During The Rainy Season

It's officially the rainy season in Cameroon when we are in March and it begins to rain almost every day. One of the things you can't ignore during the rainy season in Cameroon is the cold weather which may lead to you catching a cold if you don't keep warm. Wearing a sweater isn't the only way to keep warm.

Apart From Wearing A Pullover, Here Are 5 Ways To Keep Warm During The Rainy Season

1. Drink some Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate drink

Tea or coffee is a great way to warm up during cold times this season. I love tea and I drink a lot of tea to feel warm. You can also make yourself a hot chocolate drink with products like Martinal if you want a sweet and flavoured drink.

2. Eat some pepper soup

Spicy food makes your body warm especially pepper soup. Make yourself a simple spicy pepper soup and enjoy it in front of your favourite tv show, blog or youtube channel. This will keep you warm or for a long time.

3. Stay indoors

Stay at home to feel warm because the cold comes from outside. Hahaha. If you don't have anything important to do then stay indoors and keep warm.

4. Warm-up your home

To increase your warmth, you can heat your home with a heater or a chimney. There are little affordable heaters which look like fans. It's easy to get one from 'brocants' as they are commonly called or places where second-hand electronics are sold.

5. Stay in bed

Make your blanket your best friend, wrap yourself in it and stay in bed when it's cold.

  1. 🙂 I am rather fond of hot tea and if the temperature is cold, I will consume a pot of it.
