My hair journey has been an interesting one after I relaxed my hair.
Managing my hair has been easy and I am enjoying it.
Six Months+ After Relaxing My Nappy Hair | Update
I relaxed my hair the second time with a Dark and Lovely hair relaxer. I've done brushing twice which I am now a fan of.
I also treated my hair once at the saloon during this time and did a number of other hairstyles. Here are my hair moments in the pictures below.
The last time I saw my one-year-old nappy hair |
Applying the relaxer |
Letting the relaxer act |
Results after relaxing and doing brushing |
Doing a bun |
The bun was my hairdo for Christmas 2020 |
New year's hairdo was this |
Then after a good hair was I did these cornrows or 'bakala' as we call it in Cameroon. This was a transition hairdo. |
Ready for the next style |
Doing passe-merche |
Results looking lit |
I'm glad I chose this style before I put to bed. It didn't need combing or daily styling which I didn't have time for after delivery. I took this picture the day I put-to-bed. |
My braids were finally off and it was time to relax my hair again. |
I changed my relaxer and this time I used dark and lovely |
Washing off the relaxer |
Applying the treatment |
Finishing touches on my brushing |
I really loved the results |
I loved this second brushing so much. The hairstylist did a great job |
Some days later and my hair was still in shape |
In preparation for my next hairdo, my hair was washed. The lady kept pouring water on my face |
Going to treat my hair because my scalp was itching so bad. I wanted to wash the product away completely |
After my hair treatment. See how good my hair looks |
It was a really sunny day and I wanted to do cornrows to protect my hair and keep it intact |
How my cornrows looked |
After those cornrows which stayed for a while, I planned to do some braids but the hairstylist didn't show up so I made this. |
It makes my hair neat.I don't have to worry about combing and styling. |
This is how my hair looks as I write this post. |
So guys thank you for reading this post and following up on my journey.
