Ingredients and tools
- Khoki beans
- Cocoyam leaves
- Plantain or banana leaves
- Palm oil
- Salt
- Pepper (optional)
- Water
- Mortar and pistle

How to cook
- Select your beans to remove sand and dirt.
- Soak your beans for at least 45 minutes and wash out the peels.
- Add your pepper and grind/blend.
- Wash and slice the cocoyam leaves into smaller pieces.
- Heat some palm oil and fry the cocoyam leaves in it.
- Add salt to your taste and water to the Khoki paste if it's too thick.
- Stir it for air to infuse it as the oil and leaves cool down.
- Add the oil and cocoyam leaves and mix.
- Taste the salt to be sure it's ok.
- Tie it in the banana/plantain leaves.
When you are done wrapping them, put them in the pot and steam for at least 3 hours.
