Plums season makes me happy. Just like the mango season. lol. It feels great when your favourite fruit is in season. Just the sight of it makes you happy.
There are different ways to prepare plums in Cameroon. But this is one of the easiest and you'll need just a few ingredients.
Cameroonian Fried Plums Recipe
Ingredients
Plums
Salt
Oil
Preparation
- Wash plums well and rinse.
- Make cuts on the flesh using a knife. This helps remove water and sourness from the plums.
- Put them in a frying pan, and add salt and a little oil.
- Fry as you turn the sides from time to time.
- Turn off the fire when all plums are completely soft.
- Serve with bread, miondo, boboloh, or any tubers of your choice. I had mine with bread and it was delicious!
