From the title, you know that this post is dedicated to the victims of the massacre in Kumba that took place on the 24th of October 2020. 

Today is a national day of mourning because of this event.

Indeed it saddens my heart that those kids had to pay with their lives for a war they are not responsible for. My heart goes to the parents who have a great void right now that nothing can refill. I pray that they find peace and calm in their hearts as they move on with this pain because this is not something that can be forgotten.

I pray especially for the parents of Victory who was their only son. Their pain is immense and deep. A child they waited to have for ten years was taken away from them in such a brutal way. I pray for the soul of the mother who couldn't take it and dies because three of her kids were killed in this massacre. May she rest in peace alongside her children.

May all of them who lost their lives during that event rest in peace. We feel sad but all we can do is pray for their souls to find eternal rest. 

I hope you say a prayer for them too.
