How To Cook Sweet Njanga Rice | Cameroon Recipe For Palm Oil Jollof Rice
Ingredients
To cook this tasty jollof rice, we will need the following ingredients.
Onion
Leeks (optional). I only added it for more flavour.
Njanga (Mulolo to be precise)
Palm oil
Salt and Maggi
Pepper (optional)
Cooking
- Heat some palm oil (don't bleach) and fry the ingredients - Njanga then add the onion and leeks.
- Put in the rice and stir for a few seconds with the ingredients
- Add seasoning and then add water to cover the rice a bit
- Stir the pot as it gets ready..
- Let it cook till it's ready.
- Serve hot.
