How to cook Okok Salée| Cameroonian recipe

Kok / Ok is one of the favorite meals of Cameroonians. While there exists a war between those who like the sweet or salty one, it's a meal that brings satisfaction to it's consumers. 

I'm a fan of Okok with salt (Okok salée) with obstacles (meat/fish). So I'm sharing with you the recipe of Okok salée.

How to cook Okok Salée| Cameroonian recipe


Ingredients


-Well sliced Kok or Eru leaves
-Meat/ fish
-Grilled groundnut paste
-Palm oil
-Seasoning









Method


Wash and boil the meat. Add the Kok to it when it starts to boil. In the case of fish, boil the Kok first then add the fish. Let them boil till ready and soft.

Then add the groundnuts paste. Mix till smooth and let it boil. The texture should be thick. 

Add palm oil and seasoning. Let it get ready together. 

Serve with cassava, baton/boboloh, or tuber you like.
