I got this lipstick in December 2020 while I was doing my nails at the salon. The lady doing my nails who is also the owner of the salon recommended I buy it.
It wasn't a planned purchase at all and I haven't bought a lipstick in a long time.
I've been waiting for the right moment to try it. And I decided to do so and share my thoughts with you.
Trying On My New Purple Lipstick & Review
The product
The lipstick is a two in one lipstick. It has lipstick that gives colour and lip gloss that gives the shine.
That's why it's called the lip duo (I think).
The colour I took is purple because I haven't used purple lipstick in a while even though the colour looks good on me.
How did it feel using this lipstick and gloss?
The product feels great on the lips. The lipstick is easy and smooth when applying it.
The lipgloss is so moisturizing and its texture is just right because it's not sticky and it isn't watery.
The lip gloss has a pink colour in the container but it's pretty transparent on the lips.
Tips for using it.
It's best to apply a little of the lip gloss on your lips before applying the lipstick for moisturized and colourful lips.
Also, you can use its lip gloss daily to moisturize your lips as usual.
My personal tip: Do not use the lip gloss stick directly on your lips because it may cause your gloss to develop a bad smell. This goes for all lip glosses. It's best to take out the stick and apply the gloss on your clean finger or makeup brush before applying it on your lips. That way you preserve the sweet smell of your gloss.
Things I love about the lipstick and gloss
It smells good. It smells like chewing gum. The smell is so sweet and soft too.
It is easy to apply. Be it the lipstick or the gloss. They are easy to apply.
The colour is cute and comes out well.
The lip gloss can be used as an everyday lip moisturizer because it's transparent.
Those are my thoughts about this product from L.A. Colors.
It turns out that the product is worth my money. I bought it for 2000Frs CFA at the beauty salon. I have no regrets.
